Lure Fishing Adventures in Central Queensland

This post is a work in progress and lists the different species of fish I have landed on lures in Central Queensland.

I have had a look through my photos from the last couple of months and added those that I have found but there are still heaps of photo gaps which I’ll add as I find the photos or will re-photo next time I catch the fish and add them at that stage.

As I get time I will also add some text about each species.

PHOTO

A monocle bream with two blue bands connecting the anterior margins of the eyes, two brown bands across the dorsal surface of the snout, a distinct suborbital blue band from the lower margin of the eye to the upper-jaw lip, a dark blue caudal-fin base, a blue stripe along the upper caudal-fin lobe, relatively long upper and lower caudal-fin lobes, and a relatively wide blue margin on the rear of the caudal fin.
In Australia, this species was previously known as Scolopsis monogramma, which if found in East and Southeast Asia.
