Made in Culburra Beach, NSW this a the smaller of two big plastics that is developing a cult following for Jew Fish and Barramundi.
This is the 18cm version in gold with black fleck and gold throat.
For me because of the weight embodied in the lure it sinks to fast and has to be retrieved to fast for barra. Also I have a concern that the hook may not be up to force of a big barra fighting to return to the wild.
With that in mind I have made some changes to the lure to reduce the sink and retrieve weight whist retaining its shoulder wobble and have added a rattle to make barra more aware of its presence and added a #2 treble stinger set up under the lure to maximize the hook up rate.
